Dr Wendy Edwards

Wendy has worked for medical research charities for over 25 years and holds a Doctorate in Biological Sciences and a Certificate in Non-Profit Management.

 

Wendy formed the Research Committee while serving as Chair of Headlines' Board of Trustees and moved from the position of Chair of Trustees to Chair of the Research Committee.  She believes strongly in the importance of engaging patients in research activities, not only ensuring their participation in studies but also taking on board their input in project design.

 

Fun fact: Wendy enjoys water sports and watching live theatre in her spare time, though not at the same time!
