Come along and join in the family fun
Every year, Headlines members are invited to join us at our Family Weekend. For 2018, it will take place at Windmill Farm in Oxfordshire, where we will have exclusive use of the venue.

Windmill Farm is situated in the pretty village of Clanfield, on the edge of the beautiful Cotswolds. Their partner organisation, Adventure Plus, a youth charity, is onsite, and offers a range of outdoor activities and team-building challenges. The weekend gives families the opportunity to get together to share advice and support, to make new friends, and have fun!

Places are limited by the capacity of Windmill Farm, so book early to avoid disappointment.

Activities
Adventure Plus offers a wide range of exciting outdoor adventure pursuits and learning. Children will take part in activities in small groups led by qualified instructors. Activities can be differentiated to cater for all abilities and skills.

We are still finalising the schedule, but this is a taste of what could be included: canoeing, climbing, archery, biking, bushcraft, fencing, circus skills, wide games, tug of war, and campfire.

Childcare and activities for younger children
A team of play specialists from Oxford Children’s Hospital will be there to provide clubs for the younger children. The clubs will provide a range of fun and interactive activities, including outdoor scavenger hunts, den-building, crafts and games.

Evening activities
Campfire night – build a campfire, sit under the stars and toast some marshmallows! Indoor evening entertainment may include a quiz night, disco or film!

AGM
The Annual General Meeting is also held during the weekend. The work and achievements of the charity are reported, and the Trustees are elected for the following year. If you are interested in joining the Board of Trustees, please contact us directly.

Accommodation
The accommodation is found in the Wellspring Accommodation Block and Lower Farm. Bedrooms are mostly twin ensuite, with tea and coffee making facilities. Please refer to the booking notes for further information.

Camping pitches are available. Please note there is no electricity. Toilet and shower facilities are nearby.

Enjoy delicious home-cooked food, prepared with locally sourced ingredients, where possible. (Servery style in the main dining hall).
